my computer would shut down for no reason so i opened the side of the case and put a fan for my room next to it and now it doesnt do it anymore so im guessing i need to buy a better fan for computer or a extra fan

what should i do if my computer turns off randomly and restarts?? this happens to me a lot and where i play its a really really hot room

  • OhMuhGuhFTW:

Another way it can overheat is if the Fan is old! and needs to be Replaced.

  • A4Tech223:

@Adredinna Yes this is verry dangerous to your PC, I have the same problem and the PC’s heat increases to 90 C. Why? Because my PC sits next to a drapery and a window. And… I have 4 fans and still don’t know what to do. I was at a local electronics store and they tell that my PC is normal to overheat. I mean, 90 C this is crazy. I am still searching for a solution, move my PC in a better position, don’t know.

@MangaVoltage that happents to me… i have a quad core… and a 4870… sometimes it turns off and restarts when im PLAYING:… now its summer… my room is hott like 28 º , now thats the problem… what to do?? buy a water cooling’??

  • MangaVoltage:

The perfect ambient temperature it’s around 20 Celcius. So if it’s 33-35 inside your house .. Your cpu will overheat with stock fan if you stress it .It’s simply common sense.

Also Dust.Dust can cause your cpu fan to slowdown. You can lose 300-400 RPM if you fan full of dust plus it’s block the airflow. If you don’t have any air compressor .. use a q-tip.That work fine.

Than you can always place a port Fan beside your case blowing inside..But that mean more dust inside you case

my computer overheats when I play games… is it because of my power supply unit, because it’s load is 324W… and my graphic card is ati radeon 4890 clocked version… and I taught maybe the graphic card overheats when it’s use is required and the PSU can’t supply enough power to cool the graphic card… this was just an idea of mine, but can someone pls help me with this… if what I said is true than what am I supposed to do… if not than why does it overheat?? pls help

acer is great , i got my acer for over 5 years and its fine, except it overheats when i put it on a chair for hour’s… and the charging is damned, it was melted my universal cable but still charges, laptop looks like shit, when i use-to play counter strike for days and days and barely let my laptop rest , and when i took it at the morning it was hot as hell well because of that my usb DOESN’T Work

  • markinu:

and use an air compressor to blow the dust out

  • iphone3gwiz:

good video i like it but i don thave a desktop i have a laptop

  • keshaz12:

There are no place to add a fan on my computer and no one of the fans sim to fail…
im just taking my “small fan” (size of my case lol)
then i open the case and let the fan do the job.
    hehe

  • Jerry4050:

I think my fan is going slower to cool the motherboard which is causing the shut down or it might be my power supply but its so expensive for a good fan these days

  • MrWowkilla:

thanks im moveing mine right now !!!
