    After resetting the router, you would lose wifi connectivity but if you use only the modem to the back of the PC, you can have internet access.

    All routers have their key ports. look for the reset button on your router and you should see the reset button.

    Today I had to perform a hard 30-30-30 reset on an expensive wireless router. It had frozen completely and I couldn’t access it in any way. Only after the hard reset it started functioning once again. Then, I upgraded the firmware to the latest version in case the firmware was ‘bugged’.

    HELP MY PLEASE!!!!!!!!! I have the router wrt54g but it doesnt want ot connect. it is saying “cant connect to linksys” i already reset it like a thousend times but it doesnt want to connect a few days ago it worked fine. i dont have a cable that connect the router to the pc cause i use the wireless adapter wusb54g HELP MY!!!!!!!

    i have lost my name and password and want to reset my router. on this way you told me hold down the reset button for 30 seconds! but i have some question before doing it:
    do i still have internet when i have reset it?
    and ,does this work for Linksys WRT54G routers ???
