E-Geniuses – A Day in the Life of a Los Angeles Computer Repair Technician

On-site computer repair in Los Angeles can be pretty stressful at times. Here’s what’s supposed to be a funny reenactment of an actual job that we did. E-Geniuses technician Brandon goes to a stressed out client, Susan, who is having trouble finding a computer service technician who can setup her wireless network so that the signal reaches the entire house. If you are a computer service technician or have worked as one in the past, I’m sure you’ll be able to relate to this. Enjoy and let me know what you think. Visit us at www.E-Geniuses.com Thank you to Brandon Lawrence and Susan Posluszny for taking part in this short film. Produced by Splyce Media Group (SMG) Editing by: Joey Mariano

Hahahaha I hate when people do that ! It happens to me too when we go to our client’s house man…. they start nagging about how bad we did when we sold them the laptop even though we don’t even do anything , it’s pre-installed !

I moved to Downtown after 2000. I do remember the 2000 riots though.

I agree that certain things are best discussed in person. Thanks for the input.

  • USMarineMC:

So you moved to downtown AFTER the Staples Center was built. So you probably did not witness the 2000 Laker riots, which I think were more destructive. Living in downtown L.A. has its advantages & disadvantages. Maybe if you would have remembered the 2000 riots, you might have anticipated these incidents right?

Educating people about diversity is best done in person, not in a chalkboard like youtube.
There are many prejudiced & ignorant people on youtube, this topic is best discussed in person

  • playaz33:

USMarineMC:I grew up in LA county and moved downtown 3 years ago. My point is that this is NOT the norm here. Usually people are cool here. These people are the exception.

I posted another video as a response. Unfortunately it hasn’t got as much attention.

I think the ability to SEE the comments/problems is what’s beneficial. How else can one respond and inform without any discussion?

I just don’t think that disabling comments is the answer.

Youtube is just a forum. What do you think?

  • USMarineMC:

playaz33: Any informed person can tell you that racism exists. Some can tell you this by first hand experience. My point is, what is the BENEFIT of those comments in the Laker video? It seems that you are adding fire to the already tense ethnic tensions in this country. Are you hoping for more views?

When did you move to downtown L.A.?

  • playaz33:

I despise racism, but I think it is important to understand that understand that it does exist. What is the point of censoring the comments? Ignoring it won’t solve the problem.

What I was telling ACR77777 is that if he’s going to say something rude, he better expect something in return. So you are suggesting that I re-upload the Laker riot video and disable the comments….nah. I think that if you have an opinion, whether I agree or not, it should be heard. I disagree but your comment stays.

  • USMarineMC:

ACR77777 does have a point, especially after watching your video on the the Laker’s riot.
So you appreciate all of those hateful remarks attacking every ethnicity on this earth? It would probably be a good idea to remove that Laker riot video and upload it again, but disable the comments.

  • playaz33:

Nah, I don’t want to turn off comments because I do appreciate what people have to say. I think you’re an idiot…it seems like you can’t handle my opinion of you. Your “beyond lame…” comment is useless. Maybe try to explain what you didn’t like and what you could do to make it better. Thoughtless negative comments are for idiots. Step up your game.

  • ACR77777:

Hahahaha, wow. What an emotional and crude response. If you can’t handle people’s opinions, however harsh they may be then I’d suggest you disable comment posting because they’re not all going to be pretty. I’m actually about to ship off to a Computer Service Technician school, so this is why I searched for videos on the matter. So, actually I’m not lame for watching, unless you’re implying that watching this makes you lame, which I wouldn’t doubt- but don’t worry, I didn’t watch much!

  • playaz33:

You must be even more lame for watching idiot. Haha. Nice profile pic!

  • ACR77777:

    Beyond lame…
