A simple click of the mouse will begin scanning of your Windows registry which will yield a detailed list of the errors found. You can delete these errors manually or automatically.
The best part about Registry Easy is that every updated version is a lot better than their original award winning software. Version 4.7, for example, has a “history cleaner” that can delete all records of your internet history by one simple click. User privacy is ensured through this simple yet thoughtful feature. Another new feature in version 4.7 of this registry repair software is the “registry optimizer”. This feature optimizes the system’s startup, shutdown and network menu and helps in boosting speed up.
Registry Easy has an easy-to-understand and easy-to-navigate interface. On launching the program, you are shown into the scan area which has three options – Registry Cleaner, Junk File Cleaner and Evidence Cleaner.
Registry Cleaner gives you the option of scanning your registry automatically or manually selecting the registry sections you want the software to scan. Scanning all registry sections is not as fast in Registry Easy as in some other registry repair software that we have tried; it is still fast, nonetheless. At the end of the scan you get a list of all the errors found in your registry. If you want to manually remove certain errors, you just have to click on the corresponding check box next to the errors. The second option, the Junk File Cleaner, is a winner. Invalid entries can occur when a program crashes, creating and leaving a large file behind. The Junk File Cleaner searches these files, as well as temporary and ann zero sized files. They take up space uselessly and can create problems for the system.
The Evidence Cleaner is certainly not a novelty to the internet world, but is, to the registry repair software world. Deletion of browser cookies, address bar information and all other forms of internet history is a great way to protect and ensure your privacy.
Registry Easy has the essential backup and undo feature, too. In case of a problem because of a vital missing file, you can restore your system to a working point by a single mouse click on the backup feature.
The Browser HOM Manager is certainly one of the features that helped Registry Easy win awards. This feature gives you control over your internet explorer objects and can restore it in case it gets infected with spyware and the likes. I haven’t come across a feature like this in the many registry repair software I’ve used, and it certainly is very useful!
